Ramaiya Vastavaiya. Magical Movie Review - Revisiting the evergreen love stories!

Today afternoon I was watching this movie again and it suddenly struck to me that, do these kind of love stories still exists? The entire point of a movie being filmed is that, somewhere something similar must have happened. Yes, not exactly the whole movie but a part of it around which the entire movie revolves. In real life, we do not have those background songs and dancers but wouldn't you be lying if you found a song whose lyrics completely suit you or your situation? This is the whole thing about Bollywood movies, a part of the film actually has happened to someone sometime! Please let me know if any scene of a movie looked inspired from an instance in your life.
So, let's take a look at the reviews!

Few Things Left Unsaid - Sudeep Nagarkar. Book Review.

Few Things Left Unsaid is the debut book of an amazing writer and novelist, Sudeep NagarkarThis book was published in 2011 and was followed by five more books till 2015. The book is a romantic fiction and qualifies as a good read if you are looking for something subtle yet intriguing and emotional. Also, the book will remind most of the engineers of their good old engineering days.
Our protagonist, Aditya, goes through a helluva ride before getting an admission into an elite engineering college, I am sure, we all have been through the, ‘college counselling phase.’ He is sure that he doesn’t want to become an engineer but gives in to his parents hope. Aditya is backed up with the most powerful weapon one needs to survive a four year long course, ‘friends.’ His friends who have been with him throughout and played a major part in this book. They bunked classes together, drank together and smoked together! You know that engineering jazz!
Aditya has a pretty boring life till a girl, Riya, enters and makes his pretty boring life a bit interesting. Life is not a bed of roses and Aditya realises that soon. Having a few KT(Keep terms) and his mom who is suspicious about Riya and him, he finally confesses to his mother about their relationship. Riya promises to make Aditya study and take care of him but is Riya able to keep up her promise or she fails to deliver it?
To find out, read the book!

A few things may seem too cheesy like the couple calling each other cute names, crying at every emotional moment and being stupidly in love, but, trust me, these stuff keeps happening in real life too! The entire book is based on positivity and love, about how two people fall in love, fight, separate, get hitched with someone else but at the end, they get back to each other realising that love happens only once and the rest feelings are momentary attractions that fade away in a couple of days.
A notable mention goes to Mr.Banerjee who tells this epic line and I definitely live by it, “Love cannot be wrong but the girl maybe.” How can loving someone be wrong in anyway? Maybe you love the wrong person, maybe someone else deserves that love and maybe you are yet to find a soulmate! Also, this book subtly highlights the existence of soulmates.
I would rate this book a 3.5/5. The only reason I would not give a 5 is that, these stories are well known to people already and though I was awaiting for the end but the end was already known and expected!

How to be confident in your own skin.

Hello everyone out there!!
You must have read a gazillion of articles on how to be confident. But this, my readers, is going to be a bit different. This is how to be confident in your own skin.
Own skin basically means your outer appearance.
This article is about how you mask your faults and highlight your best features.  Everyone likes a confident person. Don't you?? But still that is one factor most of us lack.
Confidence is something that comes from within. It can be practised. Grown over time. Nutured. And overnight can do miracles! Let's start it!!

Less is the new more. I had this friend of mine, name her Amy. She is extremely short but even extremely confident. And I often see people asking her that though she is short and barely noticeable in public, still she makes an impact on whomever she meets. She told me that her heels give her the confidence. Confused? Let's try another example.

I am on the more dusky Indian complexion, and my red lipstick gives me immense of confidence. Another friend of mine told that his handwoven white shirt gave him loads of confidence. So that's how you carry your confidence. Find your confidence on small things. It may be a ring, clothes, accessories or anything that makes you more sure about yourself.

The second tip would be, read books. Indulge yourself in the process of learning, relearing and unlearning. Broaden your perspectives. Have your own opinion. Be independent. Being independent is again of five types. Please let me know if you want me to write about it. By knowledge, I don't mean, knowing the dates of Battle of Plassey. I mean, know the basic facts and current affairs.
For example, know by whom and for whom the Taj Mahal was made. And why does it come under World's Wonders.

Moving on to the next tip, sit, stand or walk straight. Your back bone should be straight, chin up and shoulder behind. This gives an appearance of extremely confident person. Don't walk around like there is no aim in your life. Or sit like you have lost treasures. Don't stand with your shoulders drooping. These all are a huge nah nah!! If you are short then please have a straight posture. This makes you look taller. If you are already tall then stand straight so that you appear more taller and confident.

Another thing you will notice in confident people is that they make eye contact. They never lose the sight of the other person. Capture the persons attention by looking into their eyes. No matter how small, big or rounded your eyes are, they are beautiful!! Trust me amigos!! All of us have beautiful eyes!! Eyes are the window to your soul. Why would you even look away when you can mesmerize them?!

Last but not the least, be happy. Nothing is more attractive than a confident and happy person. Let go of the negative vibes. Spread positive engry. Accept your body the way God has given you.
All the girls out there, you are beautiful!! And all the boys, you are going to be one of the most admired men!!

Welcome to the clan!!

Please like and comment and let me know if you want me to write about anything!!

Adios and stay safe!! :)
